Lady Bug

This pic is lovely in its simplicity. Whatever you used to capture this, I envy, because the magnification of this ladybug is phenomenal - it's huge, and yet it's impeccably detailed. You can even see deviations in the ladybug's exoskeleton, the way the red sort of washes out at the edges and even whites out at one point. The detail that is revealed through this shot is astounding. It's lit well and the composition is good; it captures the leaf and lets it run through the frame while still centering on the ladybug.
